Equally important is the protection of the outer lenses. The SLP (Smart Lens Protection) coating, which is based on nanotechnology, offers water and dust the smallest possible surface to attack. This allows raindrops to roll off at lightning speed and makes cleaning the lenses much easier. The ingenious mechanism makes it child's play to remove the eyecups. Perfect cleaning of the eyepiece lens and eyecups is therefore quick and easy. The soft rubberised thumb recesses offer a very pleasant grip and comfortable handling, even during prolonged observation or one-handed operation.
