The PARD Leopard 256 is a compact and user-friendly thermal monocular with an excellent price-performance ratio. Equipped with a highly sensitive VOx IR sensor, it provides clear thermal images for hunting, nature observation and surveillance tasks. Weighing just 300 grams and with a compact design, it is comfortable to hold and ideal for mobile use day or night.

The vanadium oxide IR sensor offers a resolution of 256 x 192 pixels and a pixel size of 12 µm, producing precise thermal images. Thanks to a temperature detection of ≤ 25 mK, even the slightest temperature differences can be seen, making it easier to detect animals or objects even in the dark, fog or light rain. The device is available in two variants: an 11 mm lens with a 15.9 x 12° viewing angle and a detection distance of up to 500 metres, and a 16 mm lens with an 11 x 8.2° viewing angle and a detection distance of up to 800 metres. Both variants offer a wide field of view for quick scanning and easy target acquisition.

The Leopard 256 has a clear user interface that allows quick menu adjustments during observation. The simple control ensures that all functions are easily accessible, even in low light or dynamic situations. The rechargeable 18650 battery provides up to 6 hours of runtime and can be quickly changed, allowing for uninterrupted use.

The device supports the recording of photos and videos in 1024 x 768 pixels. Three pre-set scene modes – city, rain and forest – optimise image quality depending on the environment. The Hot Track function detects the hottest spot in the image and tracks it automatically, which is particularly helpful for quickly locating animals or other heat sources.

The Leopard 256 has five colour modes – White Hot, Black Hot, Red Hot, Iron Hot and Sky. These colour modes adapt the display to different environments and personal preferences, making it easier to detect targets and reducing eye fatigue during prolonged observation.

The Leopard 256 is built to be water and dust resistant (IP67) and shockproof, ensuring that it remains operational even in adverse conditions. The standby mode allows for instant activation of the device at the push of a button, saves energy and ensures that the device is always ready for use.
